VR Concert
Cha Eun-woo VR Concert: Memories is an interactive VR project by AmazeVR, a company pioneering immersive experiences that blend music, narrative, and advanced technology. This groundbreaking concert allows audiences to shape the storyline and ending by choosing nostalgic objects, places, and photos.
For this project, the musical score was composed to guide the emotional arc of the story, enhancing the immersive experience and bringing the narrative to life. By combining cutting-edge technology with music and storytelling, the project expands VR concerts into a new artistic genre.
SORRY I MISSED YOUR CALL (2025)
Mixed-form experimental animation short
Through a series of real voicemails, Sorry I Missed Your Call guides audience through a woman's journey as she revisits the emotional turmoil of caretaking for her grandmother as she develops Alzheimer's. This mixed media film addresses themes such as caretaker burnout, guilt and shame, and the complexity of love.
FLOW TOGETHER (2024)
Contemporary Choral piece for female choir
This piece reflects the fear, courage, and resilience of those facing new challenges, highlighting the power of community. Using water as a metaphor, it shows how small efforts, like individual raindrops, can merge into powerful currents that reshape the landscape. The music’s repeated notes evoke raindrops, and as the tempo and volume increase, they symbolize water’s journey from streams to rivers, and finally to the ocean.
This piece was performed twice in the Bay Area in October 2024, with plans to perform it in Toronto, Canada, next year.

This movie is about the historic flooding that occured in Austin in 2013.
FORTUNE COOKIE (2023)
Stop Motion Animated Film
Fortune Cookie is stop-motion experimental short film that captures the exhaustion of being consumed by constant demands from authority, evoking feelings of prolonged manipulation and lack of appreciation.
DON’T TEAR YOURSELF APART (2023)
Feature-length thriller film
Following the feelings of the main character Carol, the music is composed with a unique blend of electronic and acoustic elements. The primary theme is composed of four simple notes with a deep electronic synth sound that is varied in a unique way throughout the film.
The music score won the Best Original Score at the Falcon International Film Festival (2022).
UNFAMILIAR (2021)
Single album
This album is my answer to the questions “Can music make us dream of the ideal in everyday life?” and “Can music transform the familiar into the unfamiliar?”
It is ambient electronic music with classical strings and a piano.
THE ROOTS OF JOY (2019)
Dance film
This score covers a wide range of emotions from darkness to hope based on the poetry written by Paige Daniels. Moreover, the simple string, piano, and deep pad sound layered into the dance movement bring the story to life.
DENTIST SHOW (2019)
3D Animated short film
The orchestral score is crafted based on swing rhythm for this animated film. Each music note syncs with the movement and emotion of the young boy.
The music score won at the Top Shorts Film Festival (2020) and the Independent Shorts Awards (2020).
TAGMARK (2019)
Advertising
This advertisement is about the new app called T. 8-bit Chiptune sound is used to bring a bright and fun vibe to this advertisement. Synth lead sound is made from scratch and the audio samples are edited and tweaked for various sound effects.
A NEW PLACE (2019)
Short film (Drama)
The simple pad and piano score delicately support the aged couple's new beginning. The minimal but beautiful melody keeps following the complicated layer of the emotion of the guy who had to send his wife to the nursing home because of dementia.
HAENYEO (2019)
VR Documentary
The story is about the female divers off the coast of South Korea. A remote recording session was organized with American and Korean musicians to produce recordings of a traditional Korean woodwind instrument that represents the main character’s emotions.
It was screened at Tribeca Film Institute Network.
